Two restaurants on the south coast of Tenerife. Wok fire, curry pastes pounded by hand, fresh herbs flown weekly — a sincere Thai kitchen, served with the warmth of two dining rooms made for lingering.
We opened Yim Siam to share the Thailand we grew up with — not the postcard version, but the kitchen one. Market mornings. Pastes pounded in stone mortars. The particular quiet just before a wok takes fire.
Today we cook on two streets in Tenerife. Fontana in Los Cristianos and Pasarela in Arona — the same hands, the same pantry, two different rooms. Kaffir lime, galangal, palm sugar and a sound system that knows when to be quiet.

Sweet tamarind, wok smoke, bean sprouts, peanut crush. The world-famous dish — cooked the way we learned it.
Basil, kaffir lime, coconut, long bean. Aromatic and warm — the paste is hand-pounded in the morning.
Northern-Thai egg noodles, coconut curry broth, crispy noodles on top, shallot, lime, chilli oil.

Most of our dishes can be prepared vegetarian on request, and our kitchen is careful about cross-contact. Please tell the team when you arrive — gluten, nuts, shellfish, soy: we know how to adapt. Dishes marked GF are gluten-friendly.
One 🌶️ is what most European palates call pleasantly spicy. Two 🌶️🌶️ is noticeably warm. We can dial heat up or down — tell us on ordering.
Both rooms take groups, but Pasarela (Arona) has the wider layout and is our first recommendation for 6 or more. Fontana suits up to 8 guests with advance notice. For 10+, please call us directly.
Yes — especially at lunch. For dinner on Fridays and Saturdays we strongly recommend reserving.
Pasarela (Arona) has dedicated parking at the Centro Comercial Pasarela. Fontana (Los Cristianos) is two minutes from the Plaza Fontana public car park.
